FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

It is the policy of the University to collect all tuition and other fees from a student before he or she starts the course. However, for those who cannot pay the entire amount, the following plans are available:

DEFERRED PAYMENT PLANS
Students may defer tuition payments for each term by spreading the payments over three months. Application for the Deferred Payment Plan must be made at the time of registration. The total cost of the Deferred Payment Plan for any term is a $75 fee per term. The deferred payment schedule is as follows:

  • 1st payment is due at registration: 1/3 of total tuition amount due plus registration, processing, and defer fees.
  • 2nd payment is due one month after the 1st day of class: 1/3 of original amount.
  • 3rd payment is due two months after 1st day of class.

Students may use Personal or Business Checks, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, or ATM Debit Cards.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS
President's Scholarship: (download form)
Established to encourage diversity within the student body, the President's Scholarships are available to students with educationally or economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The Scholarship Committee selects recipients from application's personal statements addressing their background, hardships, achievements and financial need. Previous academic performance is also a criterion. Scholarship recipients are required to achieve and maintain a 2.5 or better cumulative grade point average in first-year classes and a 3.0 G.P.A. or better cumulative grade point average in the remaining years of courses. Failure to maintain the required G.P.A.'s will result in the automatic and permanent forfeiture of the award. Scholarship Awards may vary. Please see the Dean or administration for more details.

VETERAN'S BENEFITS
The University’s programs are approved for enrollment of persons eligible to receive educational benefits under Title 38, U.S. Code. Students who are eligible for educational assistance through the Veterans’ Education Benefit programs may obtain information and forms from the Administration Office. Members of the Selected Reserve may also be eligible for educational assistance.
