The IRVINE SCHOLARS Program

for licensed CPAs

Irvine University is awarding two scholarships (up to $10,000 each) to two licensed Certified Public Accountants through the Irvine Scholars program. The focus of the program is to help students become academic scholars and community leaders. Students awarded the scholarship will come to Irvine University to embark on an integrated educational experience designed to provide the best of the university and its student services. Spring semester starts in January, so please apply soon to be considered.

Under the Irvine Scholars program, awards are given to applicants based on past academic performance and leadership ability. Two of these awards will go to qualified licensed CPAs who apply for the following programs: Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Business Administration (MBA). A legal or business background in today’s job market can be useful to a licensed Certified Public Accountant who wishes to pursue a career as a tax attorney or manage their own tax & accounting firm. Based on academic excellence and leadership potential, students selected as Irvine Scholars will receive:

  • Full or partial tuition scholarships.
  • Comprehensive 1-on-1 mentoring and leadership by a Business or Law Senior Faculty member.
  • Waived registration to special workshops and programs for Irvine Scholars.

Application deadline is March 31, 2012.
