of Irvine University. Through counseling, students are
able to improve their educational experience. Academic
advice and counseling by the Dean and/or an Academic
Advisor will be regularly available on the school premises
to all students. College of Law students are required
to meet with the Dean or Academic Advisor every term. |

| WORKSHOPS |

to augment the students learning experience. Workshops
generally consist of mini presentations and/or group
discussions. Some of our more popular workshop requests
include: study skills, exam-taking techniques, and time
management. Workshops serve to complement the classroom
education and to broaden the students' range of skills
and training. |
ALUMNI

to foster and develop professional network relationships.
Alumni also use the library, stay in touch with the
university, take advantage of career opportunities,
discounts, or other benefits. Alumni make a difference
in the tone and vitality of our organization. They represent
richness in diversity, age, geography, ethnicity, and
gender that mirrors Irvine University today. |
STUDENT
BAR
ASSOCIATION |
The Student Bar Association (SBA) is made up of the College of Law student body. Upon entering Irvine University College of Law, the student is invited to be a member of the SBA. All SBA meetings are open and input and involvement are welcome! The SBA is represented by a group of elected and appointed students who comprise the SBA Board. The aim of the SBA Board is to act as a liaison between the administration, faculty, and students to keep the law school running smoothly. Additionally, the Board is the voice of the students that brings problems, grievances, or suggestions to the attention of the faculty and administration. |
| INTERNSHIP
PROGRAM |
This is a Legal Internship program in which Irvine University College of Law students are placed in a learning position with an attorney or firm. The goal of this program is to facilitate the learning of various essential skills, especially research and writing, and to provide insights into the legal profession. The intern will have the opportunity to observe how lawyers work and how judges interpret, apply and develop legal principles. Students will have the opportunity to analyze and critique the judicial system, and the professional behavior of judges and lawyers. |
| STUDY
GROUPS |
Study
groups can be very valuable in the learning process.
They can provide support, discipline, and ready feedback.
Study groups are most effective for discussing the material
before class, discussing concepts after class, outlining,
and reviewing practice exams. The exchange of ideas
in the intimate environment of a small group of peers
is helpful to understanding complex concepts. People
learn in different ways and at different rates. School
study groups help develop the collaborative skills needed
to succeed in practice. |
